Anime Nexus RNG Pumpkin Portals is a roguelike mode added to the Roblox game in Halloween Update Part 1, and it supports co-op for up to 4 players. It is one of the Halloween event modes that run until November 13, 2026. This page covers what the developer has stated, the Portal Breaker badge and how the mode compares with the Haunted Tower. It is not the older Roblox game "Anime Nexus".
What Anime Nexus RNG Pumpkin Portals are
The official description calls Pumpkin Portals a roguelike mode with co-op for up to 4. Roguelike usually means short runs that start fresh each time, but the developer has not spelled out the rules. Portal tiers between I and V, hexes, lives and rewards are not published by the developer, so we leave them out rather than guess. The mode is part of the Anime Nexus RNG Halloween update.
Playing Pumpkin Portals in co-op
Pumpkin Portals is built around teamwork, and nothing in the description says you must have a full group to enter. How the mode handles a solo player is not stated.
Servers hold up to 4 players, which matches the co-op limit of the mode, so a full party is a full server. Team up with friends if you can; a full group is the stated format. Strong units matter in a tower defense game, so build your roster first with the Anime Nexus RNG beginner guide and boost your rolls using the Anime Nexus RNG luck guide.
Portal V and the Portal Breaker badge
The one tier the data names is Portal V. Clearing a Pumpkin Portal V earns the Portal Breaker badge. On October 30, 2026, Roblox showed 3,160 owners, which is 5.1% of the 61,764 players who own the Welcome badge, or about 1 in 20. The badge dates from October 22, so it counts players since the update, and it is a share of players, not a drop rate.
| Badge | How to earn it | Owners | About 1 in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Portal Breaker | Clear a Pumpkin Portal V | 3,160 | 20 |
| Haunted Summit | Reach floor 100 of the Haunted Tower | 936 | 66 |
See the full list on the Anime Nexus RNG badges page.
Pumpkin Portals vs Haunted Tower
Both modes are new and both are Halloween event content. The Anime Nexus RNG Haunted Tower is an endless climb you can play on your own, with Shinjo at floor 40. Pumpkin Portals is a co-op roguelike. On the numbers, Portal Breaker is about three times as common as Haunted Summit, so the Portal V clear is the easier badge by owner count. If you are short on time before November 13, the portals look like the cheaper badge to chase, while the tower rewards long runs. Anime Nexus RNG Pumpkin Portals has no published timer per run, so plan around your own session length. That does not prove it is easier to do, since the badges track different goals.
Pumpkin Portals codes and rewards
The developer has not published a reward list for the mode. Free rewards from codes are a separate matter; check the Anime Nexus RNG codes page for the current list and how to redeem them. For other Halloween content, see the Anime Nexus RNG Nexus rarity page, and for dates see the Anime Nexus RNG updates log.
